Thanksgiving Day play, Indian boarding school, location unknown (1900) by the Minnesota Historical Society

If you have followed Stuff about Minneapolis for awhile, you know I rarely add any commentary to pictures that I didn’t take. But to see these faces on the children of this photograph from the Minnesota Historical Society just breaks my heart.

Happy Thanksgiving America.

Today I am thankful for my family. Without your strength and sacrifice I would not have the opportunities I do today.
