West River Parkway, Minneapolis

Some Programming Notes…

If you want to reblog this picture, but don’t want this other text underneath, feel free to delete it. The reason being, is that I wanted to let you know that this is the last “happy” post you will see on here for a little while. Don’t worry, everything’s fine. With Halloween upon us in just a week, I got in a mood to do a series of posts I like to call “The Dark Side Of Minneapolis”. Starting Monday, at least one post a day will feature a “dark day” in Minneapolis history that may involve hotel fires, homicides, or other things of that nature. Local history isn’t always pretty, and the background of this city goes much deeper than Morris Day doing “The Bird” on the First Avenue main stage.
