Beginning Monday, Nov. 16, the Northstar Commuter Rail Line will offer service from Big Lake to downtown Minneapolis for residents and businesses in one of the fastest growing transportation corridors in Minnesota.
The Northstar Line – the state’s first commuter rail line – will provide a fast, reliable, safe and affordable alternative to sitting in traffic congestion.
I’m happy for the folks of Big Lake (pop- 6,063) and Sherburne County (pop- 64,417), but how about fast tracking a commuter line for those of us in Hennepin County (pop- 1,116,200) that live outside of downtown?
